That's gorgeous! And a great idea for STR!

Marlene

That's beautiful. Much nicer as a baby set than it would be for socks. I love the close-up!

Kat

Lovely. I may need to whip one of those up for my neice. Rats, that means I have to go buy the EZ book with the pattern. ;-)

Rhonda

I'm in the STR club and come to take a look. I love that sweater and the booties are so cute. I should knit them JUST TO HAVE a set ready for the next baby. Great idea!

jessie

Wow - I never thought to use STR for that. The colors are so little girl perfect, and the design shows off the yarn really well!

Norma

THAT is absolutely adorable, and the kind of thing that even a non-knitting recipient would love. So often it is hard to knit for non-knitters. They don't get it. But this -- THIS! Sweet!

monica

So cute!

nicole

The cutest! What a great use for STR, esp. the midweight. Great job!

Vera

Just lovely. The yarn works great.

Oiyi

Wonderful! I got that colorway from the Sock Club, too, and wasn't crazy about that color either. Great idea.

Amy

So adorable! Perfect yarn to use for those projects.

Cathi Myers

That's adorable. Was this just one skein? I have been looking for another yarn to use on another BSJ, but wasn't sure how much to get.

jaya

What a fantabulous idea! I might have to borrow it from you.

maryse

What a terrific set! The STR really shines in that knitting pattern too. I'm sure whatever mother receives the set for her newborn will be delighted with it.

Juls

Great choice of pattern to show off that colorway. Such a fantastic present for new parents.

JulieFrick

Oh, holy smokes! I hadn't seen this and I just knit this very same thing! I'll have to link here when I post. I loved doing this and was so pleasantly surprised to get a whole sweater-and-booties set out of one skein!
